AC Milan and Juventus Settle for Goalless Draw in Serie A Clash
Christian Pulisic missed a penalty as AC Milan failed to capitalize on the chance to reclaim the top spot in Serie A, resulting in a goalless draw against Juventus.
The draw leaves Massimiliano Allegri's Juventus on 13 points, two behind leaders Napoli and second-placed Roma, while they are a point ahead of Inter Milan.
Juventus forward Jonathan David and Milan's Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez both squandered opportunities in the first half, while Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan made an impressive point-blank save to deny Federico Gatti.
The visitors had their best chance from the penalty spot when Pulisic shot over the bar after former Newcastle defender Lloyd Kelly fouled Gimenez in the box.
This result ended Milan's streak of five consecutive victories, while Juventus has now drawn five matches in a row across all competitions, a feat they last achieved in April 2006.
