AC Milan Interested in Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund
AC Milan is keen to sign Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund.
Just over a week ago, the Denmark forward made headlines after scoring in a 4-1 friendly victory against Bournemouth in Chicago. He took the opportunity to express his commitment to remaining at Old Trafford, despite facing increased competition for his position in Ruben Amorim's squad.
However, Manchester United has recently reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for Slovenia international Benjamin Sesko, who is expected to be introduced to the fans at Old Trafford before Saturday's friendly match against Serie A club Fiorentina.
Several clubs are reportedly interested in Hojlund, 23, as it is known that United is open to negotiations regarding his release. AC Milan has emerged as a potential suitor, although they are currently considering an initial loan deal due to financial constraints resulting from their absence from European competition this season.
Sources indicate that Milan is prepared to offer an initial loan fee of €4 million (£3.47 million), with an option to purchase the player next summer for €40 million (£34.7 million).
It remains uncertain whether this proposal will be acceptable to Manchester United, but more clarity on the situation is expected in the coming week. Milan is set to begin their Serie A campaign against Cremonese on August 23.
