Bournemouth's decline continues, now sitting at 15th place with 11 games without a win— their worst run in a top-flight season.
Despite being nine points above the relegation zone, they have not secured a victory since October.
However, their recent performances have shown promise, including a draw against Chelsea and a thrilling 4-4 match at Manchester United in December.
Bournemouth outshot Arsenal 15 to 12 in this match and had better chances in the first half. They became only the third team this season to score more than once against the Gunners.
Nonetheless, this defeat adds to their frustrations, especially after Chris Kavanagh blew the final whistle while they were attacking, leaving them feeling they still had time to equalize.
Semenyo may soon transfer to City, but manager Andoni Iraola hopes he will feature against Tottenham on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Kroupi is emerging as a significant talent, currently the top-scoring teenager in the Premier League with six goals, averaging one every 85 minutes.
