Bayern Munich has the opportunity to widen their lead at the top of the Bundesliga standings after a 1-1 draw between Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
Second-placed Dortmund maintained their unbeaten start to the season but find themselves one point behind Bayern, having played one additional match. Leipzig is a further point back in third place.
Leipzig initially took the lead in the seventh minute with a goal from Christoph Baumgartner, who finished a header from Assan Ouedraogo with a first-time strike past goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.
This goal ended Dortmund's hopes of recording a fifth consecutive Bundesliga clean sheet, but the hosts responded by equalizing 18 minutes later.
Maximilian Beier provided a cut-back to an unmarked Serhou Guirassy inside the penalty area, who then selflessly squared the ball to wing-back Yan Couto, allowing him to score with a deflected shot.
