Bournemouth Secures Late Equalizer Against Leeds United
Eli Kroupi scored a dramatic stoppage-time equalizer, earning Bournemouth a valuable point in their Premier League clash against Leeds United.
Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half, netting his fourth goal of the season with a well-executed free-kick from the edge of the box that soared past goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
However, Leeds quickly responded as Joe Rodon leaped to head home a corner taken by Sean Longstaff, with the ball finding the net after taking a deflection.
Longstaff then turned from provider to scorer after the break, delivering a brilliant volley from the edge of the box that put Leeds ahead for the first time in the match.
Despite a strong defensive performance following their lead, Leeds were ultimately undone in stoppage time when Kroupi struck again with a well-placed volley.
This draw elevates Bournemouth to third place in the league standings, while Leeds currently sits in eleventh.
