Bournemouth has finalized the £25 million acquisition of Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic.
The Serbian player, who transferred to Chelsea from New England Revolution in a £14 million deal in 2023, spent the previous season on loan at French club Strasbourg.
The 25-year-old was recognized as player of the season as Strasbourg secured a spot in the Europa Conference League by finishing seventh in Ligue 1.
Petrovic is Bournemouth's third signing this summer and has agreed to a five-year contract.
"I came to Bournemouth because I want to grow and play at the highest level," Petrovic stated. "Together with this club and its facilities, I believe we can achieve that. I aim to help the team secure results, improve daily, and become a better player."
Petrovic, who has earned seven caps for Serbia, made 23 Premier League appearances for Chelsea over two seasons.
He is expected to become Bournemouth's first-choice goalkeeper following Kepa Arrizabalaga's return to Chelsea.
The Spanish goalkeeper spent last season on loan with Bournemouth before joining Arsenal in a £5 million transfer this month.
