Bradford Secures Draw Against Rotherham with Late Comeback
Bradford City fought back from a two-goal deficit to secure a 2-2 draw against Rotherham United.
The Millers initially held a commanding two-goal lead, but the League One leaders staged a spirited late comeback to earn a valuable point.
Both teams had opportunities early in the match. Denzel Hall missed a chance after being found in space, while Rotherham's Will Swan had two clear-cut opportunities but failed to convert, first dragging a one-on-one chance wide of the goal and then being thwarted by Bradford goalkeeper Cameron Dawson.
Rotherham took the lead in the 20th minute with a well-executed move, culminating in Hall finishing off a sequence of neat touches from Josh Benson and Kion Etete at the edge of the box.
The visitors doubled their advantage shortly after the break in the 50th minute when Ar'jany Martha sliced through the Bradford defense and set up Reece James, who squared the ball for substitute Martin Sherif to tap in.
Bradford responded in the 56th minute, with Antoni Sarcevic converting a cross from Josh Neufville to bring his team back into the game.
Pattison had a chance to level the score but missed a golden opportunity, dragging his shot wide from an angle. However, he redeemed himself in the 81st minute, finishing past Dawson after receiving a pass from Andy Cook.
