Bukayo Saka to Miss Upcoming Matches Due to Injury
Bukayo Saka will miss Arsenal's upcoming match against Liverpool on Sunday, as well as England's World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia next month.
The 23-year-old forward sustained a hamstring injury during Saturday's home victory over Leeds United, and it is estimated that he will be sidelined for up to four weeks.
Additionally, Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard is a doubt for the Anfield clash due to a shoulder injury incurred during the same match against Leeds.
Ødegaard appeared to be in significant discomfort as he was substituted in the first half of the 5-0 win, and reports indicate that he left the Emirates Stadium with his shoulder in a sling.
While Ødegaard has not yet been officially ruled out of the match against the Premier League champions, there is cautious optimism within Arsenal that neither he nor Saka will face long-term absences.
There is particular relief regarding Saka, who previously missed three months of last season due to a hamstring issue.
