Chelsea's Cole Palmer Suffers Toe Injury, Set to Miss Key Matches

Chelsea's Cole Palmer Faces Another Spell on the Sidelines After Fracturing a Toe in an Accident at Home.

The England forward had recently returned to training after a two-month absence due to a groin injury. However, the 23-year-old has encountered another setback after stubbing the small toe on his left foot against a door during the night.

As a result, Palmer will miss Chelsea's next three fixtures: Saturday's Premier League match against Burnley, Tuesday's Champions League clash with Barcelona, and the following weekend's home game against Arsenal.

“He is probably not available for Saturday for sure, Barcelona for sure, or Arsenal for sure,” said Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca. “Unfortunately, he had an accident at home where he hit his toe. It is nothing serious, but he won’t be back in the next week.”
