Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi is anticipated to remain with the club for the final six months of his contract, despite significant interest in the center-back ahead of the January transfer window.
The England international is poised for a potential free transfer from Selhurst Park this summer.
While several clubs may consider accelerating their efforts to acquire Guehi when the winter transfer window opens on January 1, it appears likely that he will complete the season with Palace and subsequently sign with a new team on a free transfer.
Guehi is eligible to sign a pre-contract with an overseas club as early as January 2026, with major European teams including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Inter Milan expressing interest.
In the Premier League, both Liverpool and Manchester City have shown interest in the 25-year-old defender. Guehi came close to joining Liverpool during the summer transfer window when the clubs agreed on a £35 million fee. However, the deal fell through on deadline day after Palace was unable to secure a replacement.
