Jamie Vardy Scores First Goal for Cremonese in Serie A Draw
Former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy scored his first goal for Cremonese during a 1-1 draw against Atalanta in Serie A.
The 38-year-old concluded his 13-year tenure at Leicester at the end of last season, where he netted 200 goals in 500 appearances.
In September, Vardy signed with newly promoted Italian club Cremonese on a free transfer.
In his fourth league appearance, Vardy found the net in the 78th minute, firing a rebound into the roof of the Atalanta goal.
He celebrated his goal with a cartwheel and a backflip; however, the visitors equalized just six minutes later through Marco Brescianini, resulting in a share of the points.
Cremonese currently sits in 10th place in Serie A, having recorded two wins and five draws in their first eight matches.
