Liverpool fans have reason to celebrate once more at Anfield, as manager Arne Slot acknowledged the crucial support from the stands that helped the team regain their form.

Milestone for Salah: 250 Goals for Liverpool
In the matchday program, both Slot and captain Virgil van Dijk acknowledged that the team’s recent performances and results had not been satisfactory. Liverpool currently faces an uphill battle to retain their title, trailing leaders Arsenal by seven points, who have not conceded a goal since the end of September.
Nonetheless, the victory has significantly lifted the spirits at Anfield, especially with Salah playing a pivotal role. The Egyptian forward scored a straightforward goal just before half-time, capitalizing on a mistake by Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, slotting the ball into an empty net.
