Liverpool's Bid for Alexander Isak Rejected by Newcastle
Newcastle United has turned down an initial offer from Liverpool for striker Alexander Isak.
The Magpies have set the valuation for the Swedish international at approximately £150 million, while the offer from the Reds fell short of this amount.
Although the exact amount of Liverpool's bid has not been confirmed, reports suggest it is valued at £110 million plus additional incentives.
Isak was excluded from Newcastle's pre-season tour of Asia as he seeks opportunities to move away, even though the club has qualified for this season's Champions League.
While Isak trains alone at his former club Real Sociedad, Liverpool's bid was submitted amidst ongoing uncertainty regarding his future.
