Manchester United have submitted a third bid for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, with the potential deal valued at up to £70 million. The proposed offer consists of an initial payment of £65 million, supplemented by an additional £5 million in performance-related add-ons.
Brentford has not yet engaged in discussions regarding this offer. Manchester United, however, remains optimistic about securing Mbeumo's transfer. The club is eager to add the Cameroon international to the squad under Ruben Amorim's management before departing for a series of three pre-season matches in the United States on Tuesday.
So far, Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha and left-back Diego Leon are the only new additions to Manchester United's roster during this summer's transfer window.
