Manchester United has completed the signing of Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo for an initial fee of £65 million. The 25-year-old has agreed to a five-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months.
Mbeumo's transfer, finalized seven weeks after United's initial bid for the Cameroon international, concludes one of the summer's most enduring transfer sagas.
The third offer from United, valued at an initial £65 million with an additional £6 million in potential add-ons, was accepted last week.
"As soon as I knew there was a chance to join Manchester United, I had to seize the opportunity to sign for the club of my dreams; the team whose shirt I wore growing up," Mbeumo expressed.
The winger is anticipated to join the club's squad for their pre-season tour of the United States on Thursday.
