Despite their interest in Ekitike, BBC Sport reports that Newcastle has no intention of selling their top scorer from last season, Alexander Isak, who has attracted attention from several European clubs, including Liverpool.
The Swedish striker Isak, 25, was acquired from Real Sociedad in 2022 for £63 million, marking the club's record purchase.
Ekitike joined Frankfurt last summer following an initial loan from Paris Saint-Germain and remains under contract for four more years.
