Conor Bradley: Northern Ireland More Prepared for Big Qualifiers
Northern Ireland is gearing up for two crucial matches against Slovakia and Germany at Windsor Park as part of the qualifying campaign for the 2026 World Cup. Conor Bradley, a defender for Liverpool, expressed confidence in the team's preparedness as they face these significant challenges.
The upcoming matches are critical for securing a top spot in Group A, especially after Slovakia's surprising victory over Germany in their opening match. Northern Ireland has experienced a mixed campaign so far, having secured a win against Luxembourg but suffering a defeat to Germany in their previous encounter in Cologne.

"Windsor Park will probably be at its best over the two games, so we have to manage the expectations of that," Bradley stated. "I have a lot of faith in the team. We have a really good group of players. We feel more prepared than we did for the last Euros campaign. We have a bit more experience now, and hopefully, that will help us."
Bradley acknowledged the need to respect Slovakia, especially given their recent victory over Germany. "I was surprised they beat Germany; I think everyone was. Germany is a top team, and not many sides have beaten them in the last few years. Slovakia is a very good team with talented players, but we have some good players too, so we’re looking forward to it," he added.
