Nottingham Forest Signs Douglas Luiz on Loan from Juventus
Nottingham Forest has secured the signing of Douglas Luiz from Juventus on a season-long loan, which includes a conditional obligation to make the transfer permanent next summer.
The 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder previously joined Juventus from Aston Villa for £42.35 million last year, signing a five-year contract.
During his time at Villa, Luiz made 204 appearances across all competitions, netting nine goals in 35 Premier League matches during the 2023-24 season before his move to Italy.
Luiz expressed his enthusiasm about returning to the Premier League with Nottingham Forest, stating that he was drawn to the club's evident ambition.
He remarked, "I am so excited to start with the team and give my best for the shirt and the fans."
