Hibs, being seeded, could face four potential Europa League opponents if they triumph over Midtjylland. Their possible rivals are Wolfsberger (Austria), Fredrikstad (Norway), or the winners of Lugano (Switzerland) vs. Cluj (Romania) or Celje (Slovenia) vs. Larnaca (Cyprus).
If Hibs are defeated by the Danish side, they will face one of seven potential Europa League qualifying losers in the Conference League qualifying draw at 13:00. These include Beşiktaş or Shakhtar Donetsk, Oleksandriya (Ukraine) or Partizan Beograd (Serbia), Novi Pazar (Serbia) or Jagiellonia Białystok (Poland), Arda Kardzhali 1924 (Bulgaria) or HJK Helsinki (Finland), Hammarby (Sweden) or Charleroi (Belgium), and Baník Ostrava (Czech Republic) or Legia Warsaw (Poland).
Meanwhile, if Dundee United overcome the Luxembourg side UNA Strassen, they will face one of five potential opponents in the Conference League's third qualifying round. These include Dečić (Montenegro) or Rapid Vienna (Austria), Cherno More (Bulgaria) or İstanbul Başakşehir (Turkey), Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldova) or Utrecht (Netherlands), Radnički 1923 (Serbia) or KÍ Klaksvík (Faroe Islands), and Pyunik (Armenia) or Győr (Hungary).
