Richarlison Out for Seven Weeks Due to Hamstring Injury
Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison has been sidelined for up to seven weeks due to a hamstring injury.
The 28-year-old is the team's leading scorer this season, netting seven goals in 21 Premier League matches.
Thomas Frank's side will face West Ham in a London derby on Saturday at 15:00 GMT, having secured only one victory in their last seven matches across all competitions.
Recently, they were eliminated from the FA Cup by Aston Villa and currently sit 14th in the Premier League standings.
Midfielders Lucas Bergvall and Yves Bissouma are set to return, while full-back Destiny Udogie and striker Dominic Solanke may also feature against the Hammers.
In a significant move, Spurs have acquired England midfielder Conor Gallagher, 25, from Atletico Madrid for £35 million. Frank has praised Gallagher as a "top signing" who meets the team's needs.
"First and foremost, he is a very good player with great experience in both the Premier League and La Liga. He has captained teams, which brings character, leadership, and experience. He is still young and has plenty of potential for development, but he arrives at a good level, offering pressing abilities, directness, and the capability to score goals while also finding good positions on the pitch," the Danish manager stated.
