Celtic and Rangers are among the clubs that have expressed interest in Serbian youth midfielder Andrej Bacanin, according to Cukaricki's sporting director, Vladimir Matijasevic.
The Serbian SuperLiga club anticipates completing the transfer within the next 10 days.
Bacanin, 18, along with 19-year-old center-back Vojin Serafimovic, was excluded from the squad as Cukaricki commenced their league season with a 1-0 victory over Napredak. Both players are reportedly close to being transferred.
Matijasevic stated on the club's website, "There is significant interest in our young players, with the current focus on Andrej Bacanin's transfer."
"His performances for our team last season, as well as for the Serbian national team at his age level, have drawn attention from numerous clubs," he continued. "We have received inquiries from Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers, as well as Ajax, Udinese, and several other teams. It is possible that more options will arise, and I expect the transfer to be finalized in the next 10 days."
Belgrade-based Cukaricki finished ninth out of 16 teams in the Serbian top flight last season.
Defensive midfielder Bacanin made 11 starts and eight substitute appearances for his club, in addition to 10 appearances for his country's under-19 team.
Matijasevic added, "I anticipate this will be another significant transfer for Cukaricki, which would cover our club's budget."
