Chelsea Secures Deal for Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho
Chelsea has reached an agreement to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.
According to sources within United, the transfer fee is set at £40 million, which includes a 10% sell-on clause for the Argentine winger.
Garnacho, 21, was informed by head coach Ruben Amorim at the conclusion of last season that he should seek a new club.
United sources indicate that Chelsea's initial offer was £25 million, but this transfer will now rank as the club's fourth largest sale in history, following the departures of Cristiano Ronaldo, Romelu Lukaku, and Angel di Maria.
