Defender Emerson Palmieri has not joined West Ham United on their pre-season tour in the United States and has been informed that he is free to leave the club.
The Hammers are participating in the Premier League Summer Series tournament, where they will compete against Manchester United, Everton, and Bournemouth.
Graham Potter's team has acquired left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague and fellow full-back Kyle Walker-Peters on a free transfer, making Emerson surplus to the squad's requirements.
The 30-year-old Italian left-back featured in 31 Premier League matches for the Hammers last season and has been a regular player since his transfer from Chelsea in 2022.
Palmieri has made 113 appearances for the Hammers and was instrumental in their historic Europa Conference League triumph in 2023.
Sources have revealed to BBC Sport that the Euro 2020 winner is currently dealing with a minor back injury.
