Leeds United has secured the signing of German midfielder Anton Stach from Hoffenheim in a deal valued at £17 million.
The 26-year-old, who has earned two international caps, has committed to a four-year contract with the club.
Stach is the sixth addition to Leeds United's squad this summer, following their promotion to the Premier League after clinching the Championship title last season.
He joins Sebastiaan Bornauw, Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Lukas Nmecha, and Sean Longstaff in strengthening manager Daniel Farke's team for the 2025-26 season.
"I am thrilled to join such a strong Premier League team and am eagerly anticipating the upcoming season," said Stach, who stands at 6 feet 4 inches tall.
"My playing style is aggressive. I excel in duels and am adept at anticipating opponents' passes, which I believe will be beneficial in the Premier League. I will give my best effort," he added.
Stach has previously played alongside fellow compatriot Lukas Nmecha, with whom he helped Germany win the European Under-21 Championship in 2021.
He further commented, "Our main goal is to remain in the league, and personally, I aim to develop, adapt to the league's pace, and gain valuable experiences."
