Hosts Morocco endured a tense evening in Rabat, triumphing over Nigeria 4-2 in a penalty shootout to secure a place in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
Youssef En-Nesyri converted the decisive penalty into the bottom corner after goalkeeper Yassine Bounou made crucial saves against Samuel Chukwueze and Bruno Onyemaechi.
This victory marks Morocco's first appearance in the Afcon final since 2004, as they strive to capture the trophy for the first time since 1976.
The Atlas Lions will face Senegal in the final on Sunday at 19:00 GMT, following Senegal's 1-0 win over Egypt in the first semi-final on Wednesday.
