Ousmane Dembele Named Men's Player of the Year at FIFA Best Awards
Ousmane Dembele, forward for Paris St-Germain and the French national team, has been awarded the title of Men's Player of the Year at the FIFA Best Awards.
The 28-year-old, who previously secured the Ballon d'Or in September, received the accolade in Qatar on Tuesday after playing a pivotal role in helping PSG secure four trophies during the 2024-25 season.
Having transferred to Parc des Princes in 2023 from Barcelona, Dembele delivered an impressive performance last season, contributing to 51 goals in 53 matches under coach Luis Enrique.
His contributions were instrumental in PSG's historic Champions League victory, allowing him to outshine competitors such as Barcelona's Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe to claim this prestigious individual honor.
Dembele attended the awards ceremony ahead of his team's Intercontinental Cup final against Flamengo scheduled for Wednesday.
