Paris St-Germain Ordered to Pay Kylian Mbappe €60 Million
Paris St-Germain has been ordered by a French court to pay former striker Kylian Mbappe €60 million (£52.5 million) in unpaid salary and bonuses.
Mbappe had sought €263 million (£231.5 million) from his former club following a long-standing dispute that reached a Paris labor court in November.
The European champions countered by suing the France captain for €240 million (£211 million).
The 26-year-old Real Madrid forward claimed this substantial amount, which included €55 million (£46.3 million) in unpaid wages, as damages due to a contract dispute and alleged mistreatment by the club.
In contrast, PSG was pursuing compensation for Mbappe's failed €300 million transfer to Saudi Arabian team Al-Hilal in 2023.
