Diogo Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, will be honored with several tributes during Liverpool's friendly match against Preston North End on Sunday.
The Portuguese forward and his brother tragically passed away in a car accident last week in the Spanish province of Zamora.
Liverpool's upcoming match at Deepdale will be their first since Jota's untimely death, which the club has described as an "unimaginable loss."
As part of the tributes, there will be a rendition of Liverpool's anthem, "You'll Never Walk Alone." Additionally, Preston's captain, Ben Whiteman, will lay a wreath in front of the visiting supporters.
The Lillywhites will conduct pre-match tributes and have produced a special edition of the matchday program in Jota's memory.
A minute's silence will be observed, alongside televised tributes, with both teams wearing black armbands.
The match, scheduled to start at 15:00 BST, will be broadcast live on ITV and LFCTV.
Jota scored 65 goals in 182 appearances for Liverpool, contributing to their FA Cup and League Cup victories in 2022, as well as their Premier League title last season.
He played his last match for Portugal during their victory over Spain in the Nations League final on June 8, where he scored 14 goals in 49 international appearances.
The Guardia Civil reported to BBC Sport that Jota and his brother died after their Lamborghini veered off the road due to a tire blowout while overtaking another vehicle.
The brothers were en route to the Spanish port of Santander, where Jota was returning for pre-season training with Liverpool.
Their funeral was held over the weekend in their hometown of Gondomar, near Porto.
