West Ham Signs Brazilian Striker Pablo Felipe
West Ham United has finalized the signing of Brazilian striker Pablo Felipe from Portuguese club Gil Vicente on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
The 22-year-old forward joins the London Stadium for a reported fee of €25 million (£21.8 million), marking the first acquisition since Nuno Espirito Santo took the helm in September.
Pablo Felipe has made a significant impact in the Primeira Liga this season, scoring 10 goals in 13 appearances, and he is set to be available for Saturday's Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
"I am very happy. I will give my all for this club, leaving everything on the pitch, all my effort, all my dedication," Felipe expressed.
He added, "The fans appreciate players who fight for the badge, and I can promise that I will leave every last drop of sweat on the pitch for this club. I want to send a strong message that I have come to prove my worth."
West Ham has faced challenges in scoring during the first half of the season and currently sits 18th in the English Premier League, four points adrift of safety.
