Arsenal Sets Record with Clean Sheets
Arsenal has achieved the highest number of clean sheets across all competitions this season.
The club has recorded a remarkable eight consecutive clean sheets from October to November, marking their longest streak in 122 years.
During this period, Arsenal did not concede a single goal in their Premier League, Champions League, and League Cup matches.
This streak ties the record for the longest run of clean sheets by an English top-flight team, previously established by Preston North End from January to September 1889 and Liverpool from January to February 1920.
Arsenal last held this record in 1903, when they maintained a clean sheet streak from April to October of that year.
If Arsenal defeats Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday, November 8, they will set a new club and English record with nine consecutive clean sheets.
Additionally, the Gunners have secured 10 consecutive victories, just one win shy of matching the 11 wins achieved under Unai Emery between August and October 2018.
