Bournemouth Agrees to Sign Alex Toth from Ferencvaros
Bournemouth has reached a £10.4 million agreement in principle to sign midfielder Alex Toth from Ferencvaros.
The Hungarian club is also set to receive an additional £2.6 million in potential add-ons. Toth is expected to travel to the south coast in the coming days to undergo a medical examination and finalize personal terms.
As a defensive midfielder, Toth has spent his entire club career in Hungary, including a loan spell at Soroksar during the 2023-24 season.
The 20-year-old has earned nine caps for the Hungarian national team and made his debut for Ferencvaros in December 2024. This season, he has appeared 25 times for the league champions.
If the transfer goes through, Toth will become Bournemouth's third signing of the January transfer window, following goalkeeper Fraser Forster and defender Ade Solanke.
