Celtic and Rangers Set for Premier Sports Cup Quarter-Finals
The defending champions, Celtic, are set to visit Partick Thistle in the quarter-finals of the Premier Sports Cup, while Rangers will host either Hibernian or Livingston.
In other matchups, Aberdeen will face Motherwell at Pittodrie, and St Mirren will travel to either Kilmarnock or Dundee United.
These exciting fixtures are scheduled for the weekend of September 20-21.
Partick Thistle, managed by former Celtic defender Mark Wilson, is the only non-Premiership team remaining in the competition, having secured their place in the quarter-finals with a 2-0 victory over Ayr United.
Celtic kicked off their title defense with a convincing 4-1 win against Falkirk on Friday night, while Rangers triumphed over third-tier Alloa Athletic with a score of 4-2 on Saturday.
St Mirren advanced past Hearts via penalties, and Aberdeen achieved a comfortable 3-0 win against Championship side Greenock Morton.
Additionally, in the remaining last-16 matches, Kilmarnock will host Dundee United on Sunday, while Hibernian will visit Livingston.
