England Squad Announced for World Cup Qualifier Against Serbia
Uncapped Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has been omitted from the England squad for the World Cup qualifier against Serbia, scheduled for Thursday at Wembley.
Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi is also absent from the 23-man roster as he continues to recover from a foot injury.
Scott received his first senior international call-up from manager Thomas Tuchel last week, following an impressive start to the season with Bournemouth.
England will travel to Albania for their final qualification match on Sunday.
On Tuesday, Scott expressed that being called up was a "dream come true."
