Fenerbahçe has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for Marco Asensio, one of their top targets during the summer transfer window.
According to reports from the French media outlet Foot Mercato, the Spanish star, who spent the second half of the last season on loan at English club Aston Villa, is not included in the squad plans of his compatriot Luis Enrique. Although it was suggested that Inter had also entered the race for Asensio, Fenerbahçe stepped in and reached an agreement with the player.

The yellow-navy club contacted the 29-year-old player during his vacation and made an offer of 9 million euros. During the meeting, the club's future plans and the player's importance in this project were explained, and even a presentation about the house he would live in was made. It was reported that Asensio is open to the offer, aside from the annual salary of 9 million euros, and requested an increase in the amount. Fenerbahçe will continue negotiations to convince the Spanish star by revising the offer.
