International Duty Highlights for Premier League Clubs
All 20 Premier League clubs had at least five players on international duty, with a total of 59 different countries represented by top-flight stars.
From debut goals to injuries, here’s how the players from your club performed during the international break.
Arsenal
Players on international duty: 17
Forward Mikel Merino scored his first goal for Spain in a World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria and followed it up with a hat-trick in a 6-0 victory over Turkey. Winger Noni Madueke started both of England's qualifiers, netting his first international goal in a 5-0 win over Serbia, while midfielder Declan Rice also scored in a 2-0 victory against Andorra. Norway's Martin Odegaard contributed one goal and two assists in an impressive 11-1 win over Moldova.

Poland’s Matty Cash scored a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands and found the net again in a 3-1 win over Finland, although he was substituted at half-time due to injury, which is not believed to be serious. Youri Tielemans netted twice in Belgium's 6-0 win over Liechtenstein, and defender Ezri Konsa scored his first goal for England in the 5-0 thrashing of Serbia.
