Macclesfield Advances in FA Cup After Extra Time Victory Over Slough Town
Macclesfield Town triumphed over 10-man Slough Town in extra time, securing their place in the third round of the FA Cup for the first time since the club's reformation.
The match began with a goalless first half between the two sixth-tier teams. The Silkmen gained the upper hand when Daniel Elliott converted a penalty, awarded after Slough's Kiki Oshilaja was sent off for a foul in the box.
Slough managed to equalize late in the match when Wiktor Makowski scored from the penalty spot, sending the game into extra time.

In the dying moments of extra time, Griffiths secured the win for Macclesfield with a precise low shot past Slough's goalkeeper, Adam Desbois, sealing a memorable victory for the Silkmen.
