Manchester United Signs Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig
Manchester United has finalized the acquisition of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko for a fee of £73.7 million.
The five-year contract includes a guaranteed payment of £66.3 million, with the remaining amount contingent upon performance-related add-ons.
Sesko, 22, becomes United's third significant attacking signing this season, following the arrivals of Matheus Cunha for £62.5 million and Bryan Mbeumo for £65 million, which includes £6 million in potential add-ons.
Despite interest from Newcastle United, Sesko has opted to join the squad managed by Ruben Amorim.
"The history of Manchester United is obviously very special, but what truly excites me is the future," Sesko remarked. "When we discussed the project, it became clear that everything is in place for this team to continue to grow and compete for the biggest trophies again soon. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the positive energy and family environment that the club has created. It is clearly the perfect place to reach my maximum level and fulfill all of my ambitions. I cannot wait to start learning from Ruben and connecting with my teammates to achieve the success that we all know we are capable of together."
