Postponement of EFL Matches Due to Frozen Pitches
Sunday's Championship match between Sheffield United and Oxford United is among several EFL fixtures postponed due to frozen pitches.
A total of seven games in League Two and two in League One have been affected by the freezing conditions.
In a statement, Sheffield United reported that a referee inspected the Bramall Lane pitch ahead of the scheduled 12:00 GMT kick-off and determined that portions of the playing surface were frozen.
Additionally, in League One, the matches between Doncaster and Luton, as well as Rotherham and Mansfield, were also called off on Sunday.
Alongside five League Two fixtures that had already been postponed on Saturday, the matches between Colchester and Accrington, and Newport and Tranmere, were also deemed unplayable after pitch inspections.
