Transfer News: Tottenham Eyes Savinho and Paz, Liverpool Targets Isak
Tottenham Hotspur is actively pursuing Manchester City winger Savinho and Como midfielder Nico Paz. Meanwhile, Real Madrid has yet to receive an offer from Premier League clubs for their Brazilian winger Rodrygo, and Newcastle United is preparing for another bid from Liverpool for striker Alexander Isak.
Savinho, a 21-year-old Brazilian international, is at the top of Tottenham's transfer wish list. Manager Thomas Frank is eager to secure the player's signature after the club missed out on signing England winger Eberechi Eze, who joined Arsenal instead. Reports indicate that Tottenham is prepared to pay £60.7 million for Savinho, who is reportedly interested in moving to London.
In an effort to strengthen their squad further, Tottenham has also submitted an improved offer of £43 million (approximately €50 million) for Nico Paz, a 20-year-old midfielder from Como. However, the Italian club is holding out for a deal closer to £60 million (around €70 million).
Interest in Real Madrid's Rodrygo is shared by Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool, but the Spanish club has not yet received a formal bid for the 24-year-old.
In addition, Tottenham and Aston Villa have expressed interest in West Ham's Brazilian attacking midfielder Lucas Paqueta, 27. Another target for Tottenham is French attacking midfielder Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco, with the club reportedly willing to accept a bid of around £47.5 million.
On the goalkeeper front, Gianluigi Donnarumma of Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Manchester City, with discussions ongoing for a transfer that would see the 26-year-old Italian join Pep Guardiola's team.
Newcastle United is bracing for another offer from Liverpool for their Swedish striker Alexander Isak, 25, following a recent Premier League match between the two clubs.
