Aston Villa Considering Move for Jadon Sancho
Aston Villa is reportedly considering a move for Manchester United's out-of-favor winger Jadon Sancho.
The 25-year-old player previously declined a transfer to Italian club Roma earlier in the transfer window, despite interest from Juventus as well.
Sancho has spent the last 18 months on loan at Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea, but neither club opted to make the arrangement permanent.
Chelsea incurred a £5 million penalty to Manchester United for failing to fulfill their obligation to sign the England international.
Sancho joined Manchester United for £73 million four years ago but has not played for the club since August 2024 during the Community Shield match.
It is important to note that any potential deal for Sancho will be separate from Manchester United's interest in Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
Sources from United emphasize that they will not pursue both Martinez and Royal Antwerp keeper Senne Lammens, who has also been a topic of discussion. Currently, there is no clear indication as to which goalkeeper, if either, will be added to strengthen their squad.
