Bayern Munich Secures Dominant 4-0 Victory Over Heidenheim
Bayern Munich secured a commanding 4-0 victory against Heidenheim in the final Bundesliga match of the 2025 season.
The team was propelled to victory by two first-half goals from Josip Stanisic and Michael Olise, allowing Bayern to conclude the year with a nine-point lead over second-placed Borussia Dortmund.
Stanisic opened the scoring with a close-range header, while Olise found the net with a strike from inside the box.
In the 86th minute, Luis Diaz extended Bayern's advantage by heading in a cross from Stanisic. Harry Kane capped off the impressive performance by slotting the ball into the bottom corner during stoppage time.
Kane, who captained the side in the absence of goalkeeper Manuel Neuer due to a hamstring injury, has been instrumental in Bayern's success.
Under the management of Vincent Kompany, Bayern has maintained its position at the top of the Bundesliga standings for an entire calendar year, marking a first in the league's history.
Bayern's nine-point lead is the second-largest margin recorded at this stage of the season.
The Bundesliga will resume after the winter break on Friday, January 9, with Eintracht Frankfurt hosting Borussia Dortmund at 19:30 GMT.
