Facundo Buonanotte Joins Leeds on Loan from Brighton
Brighton midfielder Facundo Buonanotte has joined Leeds United on loan following a brief stint at Chelsea, which was cut short.
The 21-year-old Argentine made only one Premier League appearance for Chelsea after they secured his season-long loan in September, beating Leeds to the signing.
In addition to his Premier League appearance, Buonanotte featured in seven other matches for the Blues, including the FA Cup third-round victory against Charlton, where Chelsea won 5-1.
His loan to Elland Road will last until the end of the season. Leeds has described Buonanotte as a versatile left-footer capable of playing in various positions, including behind the striker, on either wing, or in a deeper role.
Buonanotte joined Brighton from Rosario Central in 2023 and has since made 50 appearances for the Seagulls. Last season, he was loaned to Leicester City, where he played 35 matches and scored five goals.
