Galatasaray Negotiates Loan Deal for Spurs' Yves Bissouma
Galatasaray, the Turkish football club, is currently in discussions with Tottenham Hotspur regarding a loan agreement for defensive midfielder Yves Bissouma, who has not yet made an appearance for Spurs this season.
The Mali international was omitted from the squad for the UEFA Super Cup match against Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month due to ongoing issues with tardiness.
Bissouma was sidelined for Tottenham's opening Premier League victory against Burnley because of an injury and was also unavailable for the 2-0 win over Manchester City on Saturday.
The 28-year-old midfielder joined Spurs from Brighton in 2022 for a fee of £25 million, plus additional clauses, and has since made 100 appearances for the club, including a starting role in the 1-0 Europa League final victory against Manchester United in May.
In a related move, Tottenham secured defensive midfielder Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich this summer, with the Portugal international scoring in the recent win against Manchester City.
