Jorgen Strand Larsen Signs New Contract with Wolves Until 2030
Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen has signed a new contract that extends through 2030.
The agreement includes an option for an additional year, coming just three months after the Norway international made a permanent move to the club.
Wolves turned down offers from Newcastle of £50 million and £55 million during the summer transfer window, following Strand Larsen's impressive performance last season, where he netted 14 goals while on loan from Celta Vigo.
The 25-year-old joined Wolves for £23 million after his successful loan spell, contributing to the team's 16th-place finish in the Premier League.
This season, he has scored two goals, both during the EFL Cup victory over West Ham, but has been sidelined for the last two matches due to an Achilles injury.
Wolves will face Leeds on Saturday, having lost their first four Premier League games, and they are hopeful that Strand Larsen will make his return.
His contract extension follows that of head coach Vitor Pereira, who signed a new three-year deal on Thursday.
