Late Penalty Secures Draw for Livingston Against Hibernian
Livingston scored a stoppage-time penalty to deny Hibernian a victory in a thrilling match, bringing the Scottish Premiership's bottom team to within two points of Dundee.
It appeared Hibernian would secure the win until substitute Nicky Cadden was penalized for handball following a VAR review. Substitute Graham Carey then stepped up to convert a flawless penalty into the top-right corner of the net.
This dramatic finish capped a game that saw both teams display dynamic play from the outset.
Hibernian took the lead just 18 seconds into the match when Jamie McGrath executed a stunning first-time shot off the inside of the post, following a clever knock-down by Thibault Klidje. This marked the fastest goal of the league season.
Livingston weathered the initial storm from Hibernian, where Rocky Bushiri had a well-placed volley disallowed for offside, and responded with a remarkable goal of their own. For Hibernian, the late loss of two points will be disappointing, but they still climbed back into third place, ahead of Rangers and Falkirk on goal difference.

Livingston will be relieved they won't face Hibernian again soon. They have played against them three times this season, securing only one draw and suffering two losses, with an aggregate score of 8-2.
The visitors started strong and maintained their tempo throughout most of the match, with the exception of a period in the first half when Livingston gained a foothold.
With players like Boyle, McGrath, and Josh Mulligan, Hibernian consistently appeared more dangerous, scoring two quality goals and potentially deserving more.
Livingston, on the other hand, urgently needs to start winning, having achieved just one victory in their first 11 Premiership games.
However, they demonstrated quality play at times but continue to struggle with consistency over the full 90 minutes, as evidenced by a narrow offside decision that denied Kieron Bowie a third goal for Hibernian.
Despite Dundee's loss at Tynecastle, Livingston remains at the bottom but is not far behind.
