'Complete mockery of a once proud club'
Callum: This situation is becoming one of the greatest disgraces in Scottish football history. When will those in charge at Ibrox realize that if Thelwell and Stewart are the obstacles, they need to be removed immediately? Three potential managers have turned us down in just over a week. It's shocking and embarrassing.
Michael: Thelwell and Stewart are trying to exert too much influence over first-team decisions, which seems to be causing the breakdown. Both need to go. If Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe wanted Gerrard and Muscat, then the deals should have been finalized—after all, they are the 'bosses.'
Isobel: The club knew Muscat's situation from the beginning, so why pursue him if they were desperate for someone immediately? It shows utter incompetence and arrogance to believe they could secure him when he was on the verge of winning a second title. The entire management team, including the Americans, has dragged a proud club into disarray in this ongoing fiasco. It's disgraceful, and I feel for the players, who are left leaderless and exposed.
Neil: It's becoming evident that if the new manager desires control over recruitment, Thelwell will be a significant hurdle. It's time for the owners to step up and demonstrate their capability to run the club effectively.
Stuart: Having supported this club since my late father took me to my first game in the late 1970s and spent thousands traveling across the UK and Europe to watch them, I can confidently say this is the worst I've ever seen from top to bottom. Poor board decisions, ineffective management, and inadequate recruitment. Thelwell and Stewart must go; they are merely lining their pockets while ridiculing what was once a proud institution.
Sonny: Sack the board. The Americans have somehow managed to make the club an even bigger mess than the previous administration, which I thought was impossible. We are a laughingstock, and the pool of quality candidates is dwindling. It's embarrassing.
