Ruben Loftus-Cheek is poised to be recalled to the England squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia, seven years after his last appearance.
The AC Milan midfielder has earned 10 caps for England, with his most recent appearance being as a substitute in a victory over the United States in November 2018.
England manager Thomas Tuchel previously coached the 29-year-old during his tenure at Chelsea.
This development comes as Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is now considered a doubt for the upcoming matches after sustaining a groin injury during his team's 3-0 win against Aston Villa on Sunday.
