Wrexham Secures Home Victory Over Bristol City
Wrexham defeated play-off contenders Bristol City, scoring in both halves to extend their home winning streak in the league to four matches.
Nathan Broadhead opened the scoring in spectacular fashion, netting his fourth goal of the season early in the match.
Both teams had several opportunities to score, but Wrexham doubled their lead when George Thomason's corner appeared to deflect off goalkeeper Radek Vitek into the net, marking what could have been Thomason's first goal for the club.
This victory propelled Wrexham to 10th place in the standings and extended their unbeaten league streak to seven games.
Meanwhile, Bristol City suffered their second away defeat of the season, dropping them to seventh place, just outside the top six.
Wrexham made two changes from their previous match, a 0-0 draw against Ipswich Town, with Kieffer Moore returning from injury and Broadhead starting in place of Sam Smith and Josh Windass.
Bristol City’s Gerhard Struber implemented three changes following their 3-0 win over Swansea City, bringing in Mark Sykes, Haydon Roberts, and Yu Hirakawa for Neto Borges, Scott Twine, and Sinclair Armstrong.

As the first half closed, Roberts shot wide, leaving Wrexham with a narrow lead.
Struber's side increased their tempo in pursuit of an equalizer, but Wrexham remained dangerous on the counter-attack, with Thomason firing over shortly after the break.
Wrexham came even closer when Thomason quickly took a free-kick that found Moore, whose shot went just wide.
Both McCrorie and Mehmeti had attempts for Bristol City as the game opened up, while Moore and substitute Windass nearly extended Wrexham's lead in the 69th minute.
Finally, Thomason's corner struck the far post before going in off Vitek, giving Wrexham the much-needed cushion.
In added time, Okonkwo was alert to deny Cameron Pring, ensuring Wrexham secured their fourth consecutive league clean sheet, moving them within two points of the play-off spots.
