Brendan Rodgers Appointed Manager of Al-Qadsiah
Brendan Rodgers has been appointed as the manager of Al-Qadsiah, a club in the Saudi Pro League.
Rodgers, who has previously managed teams such as Liverpool and Leicester City, departed from Celtic in October after leading the Scottish club to consecutive league titles during his second tenure.
His exit from Celtic was surrounded by controversy, as majority shareholder Dermot Desmond characterized Rodgers' actions as "divisive, misleading, and self-serving."
At Al-Qadsiah, Rodgers takes over from Michel, who left the club after more than two years in charge.
The team features former Real Madrid defender Nacho and Italian striker Mateo Retegui, and currently sits fifth in the Saudi top flight standings after nine matches.
