Burnley Midfielder Hannibal Mejbri Receives Four-Match Ban and Fine
Burnley midfielder Hannibal Mejbri has been suspended for four matches and fined £15,000 after an incident involving Leeds United fans in October.
The 22-year-old player acknowledged the misconduct charge from the Football Association and will be ineligible to play until Burnley's Premier League home match against Newcastle United on December 30.
The incident took place during the 67th minute of Burnley's 2-0 victory over Leeds on October 18.
Lancashire Police initiated an investigation following a complaint from a Leeds fan seated in the away section of the stadium.
